In Togo, #FSRP is strengthening climate resilience by supporting ANAMET with 24 rehabilitated weather stations, 14 meteorological centres and staff training at @AgrhymetInfos. Farmers now receive agro-meteorological alerts via SMS, radio, WhatsApp and apps. @WorldBankAfrica
Within the framework of adopting sustainable friendly farming practices, 186 members, including 96 women, received a compost bin & a biopesticide production unit with #FSRP. They produced organic fertiliser from materials generated by their farming & livestock activities.
Established in 2024 with support from the FSRP and operational since 2025, the Sarakawa satellite technology park, covering an area of 4 hectares, offers technologies and innovations relating to rice, maize, groundnuts, cassava, millet, sorghum and vegetable crops.
Maize farm on the ZAAP of Gadjagan by 193 farmers cultivating rice and maize on 106 ha. They are benefitting from the agrometeo information with FSRP support since 2023. The informations they receive regularly contributed to improving their activities & increased their incomes.
With support from FSRP, the Espérance Association in Tchamba boosted parboiled rice production from 500 kg to 1 tonne weekly using improved equipment kits. The initiative reduces drudgery, improves rice quality and increases incomes for 16 members of whom 3 are men.
In Yaloumbè, Blitta (Togo), members of the Solim Cooperative are transforming rice production through Smart Valleys technology with #FSRP support. This low-cost innovation improves water management, boosts yields, strengthens climate resilience & increases farmers’ incomes.
From 2–3 June 2026 in Accra, @ecowas_cedeao, Ghana, the World Bank, AfDB & partners will convene the West Africa Rice Investment Roundtable to mobilize scalable investments for rice self-sufficiency, food security & value chain transformation across West Africa. #RiceForGrowth

With #FSRP support, Kpong Irrigation Scheme is rehabilitating canals & water systems, improving irrigation for 2,500 farmers & agribusinesses, boosting year-round rice production & strengthening climate resilience.
Ghana: #FSRP support boosts the poultry value chain. FSRP is strengthening Ghana’s poultry value chain through training, vaccines, feed and chick distribution, helping farmers boost local chicken production, create jobs for women and youth to reduce dependence on imports.
Ghana is accelerating the distribution of rice improved seeds with support from #FSRP to boost national production.
Thanks to a community-based approach, in Kumasi, 150 farmers are cultivating 110 ha with these improved varieties, with promising results for rice self-sufficiency.

With support from #FSRP, the firm acquired a garri bagging machine. This investment has transformed the product’s market positioning with attractive packaging containing sugar & milk, a ready-to-eat product.
