Academic & athletic program providing life-changing opportunities for urban youth in Wilmington, DE through the sport of squash & intensive educational support!
On April 29th, our friends at First State Squash held their first FSS CUP, raising $41,645. Four teams came together to compete in singles and doubles squash at the Wilmington Country Club, with nine FSSers jumping into the action! Well done, @FSSquash_Wilmo!
When was the last time the National Doubles was in Wilmington? The First State hosted the men's tournament in 1963 and 1971. (Sam Howe, in attendance this weekend, won at both events.)
Proud to introduce the bipartisan BUILD Act with @SenBobCorker to promote sustainable growth in developing economies through U.S. business investment & to provide more accountability for taxpayers: https://t.co/UdECWSTzwg
62 years ago today, Rosa Parks stood up for what is right, what is fair, and what is just, by sitting down on a Montgomery city bus and refusing to give up her seat to a white passenger. Her actions took raw courage and helped ignite a movement. #goodtrouble
This #WorldAIDSDay, we are thankful for the memories of all the friends and family we have lost to this terrible disease, and for all those who continue the fight against it today.
We are so happy to have you as our leader and are very excited for our students tomorrow! Can't wait for them to meet Mayor @MikePurzycki https://t.co/faLKBMI4Vc
