I serve a living God. I honor God, and I praise God.

Thank you, Mr. President @KagutaMuseveni, for elevating me. Thank you, Papa Salim Saleh and my leader big brother General @mkainerugaba, for mentoring me. I will never disappoint you. We shall mobilize and serve our people parish per parish.
The transition of our parishes begins immediately. I will not sleep until every parish shines and poverty is removed from our communities. We must work together to transform the lives of our people and build a stronger Uganda.
There will be zero tolerance for corruption in PDM and all poverty alleviation programs during this kisanja. No sleep until service delivery reaches every household and every community benefits from government programs.
Our father Mr. President @KagutaMuseveni, I will not disappoint you. Ugandans, be part of the transition.
God bless Uganda, our esteemed President @KagutaMuseveni, Mama @JanetMuseveni, General Saleh , my leader @mkainerugaba, my family and to the people of Uganda .

I congratulate the Rt. Hon. Speaker Jacob Oboth Oboth and Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa and thank the MPs for carrying out their mandate of voting, peacefully and transparently.
The NRM candidates obtained more votes than the NRM members in the House, and I note the votes our ally Mao took away. We shall address this because we want a united Parliament that serves our people better.

Today, I had the privilege of welcoming the leadership team from Airtel Uganda, headed by Managing Director Mr Soumendra Sahu, to @UCC_Official headquarters.
We came together to celebrate a significant milestone: Airtel Ugandaโs contribution of UGX 42.9 billion, marking their 2% statutory gross annual revenue payment to the Commission.
This isn't just a box-ticking exercise; itโs a testament to the vibrancy of Ugandaโs telecom industry. Last year, this figure stood at UGX 37.9 billion, reflecting a thriving business environment nurtured by sound government policies and progressive regulations.
While businesses focus on their bottom line, our government prioritises digital inclusion, ensuring no one gets left behind in this fast-paced digital world.
Thatโs where the 2% levy comes in, playing a transformative role. Half of the funds go directly to the National Consolidated Fund, while the other half supports the Uganda Communications Universal Service and Access Fund (UCUSAF).
This fund drives national development, extending essential ICT infrastructure to underserved rural areas, where commercial investments often hesitate.
It enables ICT integration in education and agriculture, champions digital skills training at the Uganda Institute of Information and Communication Technology (UICT) in Nakawa, promotes digital inclusion for Persons with Disabilities, and distributes smart devices to marginalised communities.
This is more than just meeting legal obligations; it's about embodying corporate citizenship. Airtel Uganda has demonstrated that this responsibility is a shared investment in our nationโs future.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Airtel Uganda for their partnership and commitment to national progress. Together, we are crafting a more connected and inclusive Uganda, opening doors to endless digital opportunities for every citizen.

50 years at MIT. One final hour.
A professor spent half a century teaching. Knowing the end was near, he distilled everything into a single lecture.
His last gift to the world.
He passed away 5 months later.
This is his final hour.
Watch it this week. Seriously.
Team UIPE,
We did it โ together. Thank you for electing me your President for 2026โ2028.
This was a contest of ideas, not enemies. To all contenders: respect. You made this race richer. Now letโs make UIPE richer. I need your energy because the 7 Pillars need all of us.
Dr. Asiimwe who is a consultant urologist at Mulago National Referral Hospital and Uganda's only transplant surgeon, further warned that if Parliament passes The Protection of Sovereignty Bill, 2026, the Uganda Medical Association risks, itself risks deregistering some of its members or face criminal liability if the association receives or channels foreign funding for activities such as training grants, human rights advocacy, continuing professional development supported by international partners, and as such force the Association to be reluctant to engage in health advocacy.
โThe association may become reluctant to engage in policy advocacy, which is part of what we are doing, litigation, which we are also doing, public discourse on issues related to health financing, labour rights, and governance. We are going to censure ourselves and may retract from these activities, and maybe that's the intention of the law, of the bill. This fear of sanctions under the bill will undermine the association's constitutional mandate to protect the interests of the medical professionals and advocate for better health care for all Ugandans,โ said Dr. Asiimwe.

Our Lead Trainer, Mr. Ssentongo Daudi, highlighted the ICT4Farmers app, featuring a call centre that connects farmers to agents for real-time support. With multiple local languages (and Karamojong coming soon), accessibility remains a priority.

Justice Oscar John Kihika: Somewhere in the middle of my first term at St. Maryโs College Kisubi, Nabingo Girls had come for a dance. I peeped inside the dance hall and saw boys squeezing (dancing with) girls, and I said, โI think the seminary can wait.โ
