Meet Day! We travel to Flat Rock tonight for another Huron League Matchup!

Wayne County Champion in the 100 butterfly by McNamara, who was also runner up in the 100 backstroke, two top 10 relay finishes by L. McNamara, A. McNamara, Chan, and Chevalier…helped the Lady Rams place 12th with only 5 girls at the Wayne County Championships today!

Flat Rock won their dual against SMCC, 94-82. They lost duals against 2 highly ranked D3 teams, Dundee and Country Day. Highlights were McNamara won 2 individual races and broke a varsity record in the 100 back. Morrison qualified for regionals and broke our 6 dive record!

The Lady Rams won their double dual against Belleville and Wayne Memorial this evening! First places for Flat Rock were Chan, Chevalier, McNamara, McNamara, and Morrison. Lauren McNamara broke the pool record for the 100 butterfly at Belleville!

The Rams had a great meet at WHS. They took the loss by a score of 98-85. Lauren McNamara broke 2 pool records, and County Cuts were earned by Riley Chevalier, Aileen McNamara, and Sophia Chan. The medley relay of McNamara, Chevalier, McNamara, and Chan broke the varsity record.

Yesterday, Jake Stanislawski and Nate Vargo placed 2nd overall at the Frank Connolly relays. Megan Woelkers and kayle babowicz placed 10th for the girls. Lucas Taraszkiewicz and Adam Brodie also medaled in 13th place. The boys team placed 5th in the big school division. 🐏💚💛

Rams take the win tonight by a score of 97.5 to 79.5 against Erie/Ida. Wayne County cuts were earned by Aileen McNamara in the 200 IM and Riley Chevalier in the 50 free. State cuts were earned by Lauren McNamara in the 100 butterfly, 50 freestyle, and 100 breaststroke!

The cross country team ran in the Puddle Jump Invite today at Milan. With a time of 20:29.91 Megan Woelkers finished 2nd overall for the girls. Jacob Stanislawski (2nd), Nathan Vargo (3rd), and Lucas Taraszkiewicz (4th) for the boys. As a team the boys finished in 2nd place.
