We are proud to continue our support for Show Racism the Red Card.🔴

We had a fantastic No Room For Racism workshop at one of our partner primary schools, focusing on respect, inclusion, and celebrating what makes each of us unique.🌟

Our anti-racism workshop sparked meaningful conversations, helping young people understand the impact racism has on individuals, communities and society. Whilst also promoting discussions around respect, inclusion and equality for everyone.❤️

Together, let’s show racism the red card.✋

Major investment for FTCT! 📣

We are thrilled to announce that Fleetwood Town Community Trust has secured £369,000 in funding to expand our work with young people, families and the wider Fleetwood community. 🎉

A huge thank you to The National Lottery Community Fund (£300,000 through Reaching Communities), Wyre Council and Community First (£49,000 from the Community Resilience Fund), Places for People (£10,000) and Regenda Homes (£10,000). 🙌

This funding will allow us to employ a full-time Community Programme Manager, develop a brand new family support service, run youth provision five nights a week and deliver targeted mentoring for young people with additional needs. It will also help secure our work in the community for the years ahead. 🌟

"Securing £369,000 in total is a tremendous vote of confidence in our work and in the young people and families we support. We thank every one of our partners for believing in what we can achieve together."
- Tom Hutton, CEO of Fleetwood Town Community Trust

The children enjoyed an hour of exercise while learning about mental health and wellbeing, and how staying active can help them feel happier, calmer and more confident. 🧠💪

Exciting Changes Ahead for Our Veterans Programme!🌟

We understand that many people will be disappointed by the decision to pause our Veterans Football sessions, and we'd like to reassure everyone that our commitment to veterans has not changed.

This pause is part of a wider review that will allow us to create something even better. We're working on a new approach that responds directly to need, delivers greater impact, and provides more opportunities for veterans to engage, connect and thrive.
Sometimes progress means taking a step back in order to build something stronger. That's exactly what we're doing.

We're incredibly excited about what's coming next and can't wait to share details of a new programme that we believe will make a real difference to the veteran community❤️🏅

Watch this space. The next chapter is coming soon.
