@Ross_Greer Why do the @scottishgreens refuse to back our campaign for the same 75% discount on business rates that our colleagues elsewhere in the UK are getting? Do you not have hospitality businesses in your constituency?

@RishiSunak Our staff deserve to be paid more. But it’s not a magic money tree called a pub. These increases need to be paid for by the business owners. Where is this coming from ? Scotland hasn’t even had rates support ? Cut vat now. And force Scot gov to hand over the cash as intended
@pub_that Could be worse …. Here in Scotland we have all what you have and no rates relief !!! They kept the money to deliver other priorities ! Meanwhile City centres are like ghost towns as small businesses close down
@Sacha_Lord Meanwhile here in Scotland we are still paying full business rates. Will @scotgov finally give hospitality the help that is intended. As the trade is on its knees. ?
Chancellor announces 75% rates relief for hospitality and retail extended for another year in England. @scotgov now must replicate…must replicate…MUST replicate.
Today we see hospitality get a further year of 75% business rates relief for England & Wales
Hospitality needs this delivered here in Scotland too to help us secure jobs, invest and thrive

If @Jeremy_Hunt isn’t hearing the hospitality sector crying out for a VAT reduction & monitoring the closures, then there is clearly an issue. @ChefTomKerridge along with the rest of us laying out the problems is a daily task #SHG https://t.co/cffncQmxhR
