@learnatune I keep a secured Excel spreadsheet of all my student details including contact info etc. So I’ve now added the ABRSM contact ID’s to that for future reference. Can’t see a better way of doing it in the ABRSM system - it’s poorly designed!

The piano receiving its 4th COVID-safety-scrub of the day yesterday. I don’t think it knows what’s hit it; it’s never been so clean in its life 😂

Normally lessons are still over Zoom, but those taking exams this term are having lessons in person over half term.

@ABRSM Whoever looks after your IT infrastructure has not made sufficient provisions to cope with this demand. I sincerely hope this will be rectified. I also hope you’ll extend the syllabus validity to those who couldn’t book because of your system failures (3/3)

@ABRSM ... plus the overlap period for the 2016-2019 violin syllabus is ending so this is everyone’s last chance to take the exams they should have taken in March/April... I think it’s fair to say that demand for this period was inevitably going to be sky high!! (2/3)

@learnatune My last day is the 14th and I’ll be starting back again on 6th Jan. I’m lucky though, this is a 2nd job for me so I don’t need to worry about the money loss. If it was my only income source I’d definitely carry on longer & start back earlier to keep myself covered.
