Toni Basilは、60年代半ば頃からTV番組の振り付け師になり、エミー賞とグラミー賞を受賞、また多くのコンサートや映画の振り付けと共同監督を行った。

She is one of the 7 original members of The Lockers, the first street dance team that succeeded  in bringing street dance to the attention of the American public  and spread the dance called locking not only in the United States but all over the world.
