Jack Frost had frozen some polar bears in a block of ice! It was our job to rescue them! We tried to use forks to break the ice then sprinkled salt and listened to the fizzing sound this made as it melted some of the ice away. We poured on hot water to melt the ice too.
We had a visit from Little Robin this morning with a special story to explain how he got his red tummy! We thought it would be nice if we made Robin and his friends some bird feeders to hang in the garden.
Today Santa left us a present! We played ‘pass-the-parcel’ and discovered that the cheeky elf had left us some challenges in each layer using numbers and actions! We passed the tests! We were very surprised to discover the elf in the final parcel! He gets everywhere!!!
Poor Elmer the elephant had lost some of his colourful ‘multi-link’ patches today! We sorted the multi-link into colours then counted how many we had of each. We recorded the results on our chart and found out Elmer had lost more blue patches than the other colours!
The children showed lots of interest in bathing the babies so Mrs Hannant set up a baby bath! It's safe to say it has been a great success. #childledlearning@ForestTownPrSch
The 2d shape fish are hungry so we are going to feed them by sorting the shapes! How many 2d shapes can you name? Do you recognise all the colours too?🐠
