We celebrated SOAR Week our disability & inclusion awareness week, learned about adaptive PE, Pet Pals therapy, guest speakers, and more! 5th graders designed accessibility solutions. Everyone took the inclusion pledge & learned how trailblazers of all abilities shaped the world.

On Friday, 2nd grade went on a great field trip to Stagville State Historic Site. This came after our Long Journey to Freedom Unit which (among many other topics) covered enslavement, resistance, and emancipation. Check out some of the reflections from students' experiences!
🧠 5th grade had an unforgettable day exploring the wonders of the human brain! A special visitor brought a real brain for students to see, touch, and learn about firsthand. Hands-on learning at its finest!
