10 Relham

Hidden character: Relham.

She was designed as M.B’s daughter.

Since M.B herself fills the final boss role, I didn’t make her directly playable. But I kept thinking, “What if players could use a slightly toned-down version of that fighting style?” — and that idea became Relham.

She inherited her mother’s strength, but I didn’t want her to feel like a direct copy.

For the design, M.B hides the upper half of her face, so I went in the opposite direction and had Relham cover her mouth instead.
I wanted them to feel connected while still having distinct silhouettes and personalities.
Hidden characters always feel a little unfair… in the best possible way.

"Rain Streets" #9 M.B

Realistic styles naturally tend to push characters toward a heavier, more imposing build, so I paid a lot of attention to that balance.

Rather than simply making her look powerful, I wanted her to feel untouchable — someone with no openings, someone you wouldn’t want to approach.

She’s not the type to overpower people through brute force. I wanted to preserve the feeling that she’s standing there after already calculating everything.

Combined with the rain-soaked armor and the reflections of city lights, the result became an image with a strange sense of pressure despite its quiet atmosphere.

I think final bosses are scarier when they stay silent than when they’re shouting.

And finally… the final boss: M.B.

At first I considered making her more flashy and intimidating, but in the end I aimed for someone who gives you a bad feeling just by standing there.

Not the type who shows overwhelming power directly—
the type who smiles because she already knows everything.
Royal blood, ruler, underworld mastermind, and NUTS CRACK fighter...
She wears many roles, and somehow every single one of them feels real—and a little terrifying.

My favorite part might be the expressions.
Somehow her smile feels more dangerous than her angry face.
Probably the last person I'd ever want to fight.

"Rain Streets" #8 Dominique

Sunglasses in the rain.

Normally it would look impractical, but with Dominique… somehow it just feels right.

The modernized tobi-style outfit, the heavily trained physique — everything is built for function.
But the moment he puts on those sunglasses, he instantly becomes “Dominique.”
Serious, rugged, and somehow carrying that comic-book hero energy.

The rain really helped bring out that side of him.
And honestly, I like that he still refuses to take off the sunglasses, even in the middle of a downpour.

Fighting Vipers Re:Bite
8 Dominique

He's a very straightforward character.

He spent years training his body with dreams of joining the air force, only to have that dream taken away because of his eyesight.
He went through a rough period after that, but one feeling never disappeared:
"I still want to be close to the sky."

That eventually led him into the world of high-rise construction work.

Jumping across beams, climbing, moving through dangerous heights — those movements became the foundation of his fighting style too.

For the design, I used traditional tobi workwear as the base and mixed in a little superhero energy and some "NINJA" vibes.
The sunglasses aren't just for style either — they're practical gear for working high above the ground.

He doesn't show much emotion on the surface, but he's the kind of person with a lot burning underneath.
Really happy with his ANGER expression on this one.

Fighting Vipers Re:Bite
"Rain Streets" #7 Lucy

Lucy isn't just a star on stage — she's one in the ring too.

She fell in love with a legendary band, picked up music, and eventually stepped into the world of Nutscrack.
For her, the guitar is more than an instrument. It's her way of expressing herself… and sometimes, it's literally a weapon.
She fights like she's keeping rhythm — once the momentum starts, the combos just keep flowing.
Flashy, straightforward, and a little reckless. That's Lucy.

Really liking the rain-soaked industrial atmosphere on this one.
Also, even if she's winking at you… she's probably about to swing that guitar.

[FightingVipersReBite_FanProject @FVRB_FanProject]

Fighting Vipers Re:Bite
6 Lucy

This character started with admiration.

She's the kind of girl who fell in love with a legendary rock band and ended up stepping into the ring because she wanted to stand on that stage herself.
To Lucy, music and fighting aren't that different — both are ways to express who she is.
And yes, the guitar actually is a weapon.
She can play it… and she can swing it at people too.

The more momentum she builds, the faster and more relentless her attacks become.
Her fighting style feels closer to a live performance than a traditional martial art.
For the design, I kept the armor elements lighter and leaned more into the feeling of a performer than a warrior.

She's friendly most of the time, but once the switch flips, she becomes the star of the show.
Really happy with the contrast between JOY and ANGER on this one.

Fighting Vipers Re:Bite
"Rain Streets" #6 Darling

When the rain hits, the armor feels a little less like a stage costume and a little more like real battle gear.

Normally he's a calm fashion designer.
But once he puts this on… somehow, a switch flips.
The armor may look heavy, but it's built for movement.
Less about becoming a knight, more about wearing his ideal self.

And this time…
Really happy with the whole "soaked but still cool" vibe.

Fhighting Vipers Re:Bite
6 Darling

Darling ended up showing a lot of his “real self” in the character sheet.

Normally he's a calm fashion designer, but the moment he puts on the armor, something switches.

The armor is inspired by classic knights, but it's built to move, not just look heavy.
For him, it feels less like battle gear and more like the ultimate stage costume.

Sometimes the most serious people become the wildest once they let loose.
That’s Darling.

--AWAKEN FIGHTING VIPERS
Tried making a motorcycle riding sequence.
I focused a lot on the feeling of speed and the reflections on the rain-soaked streets.
It’s a short scene, but I hope it captures the feeling of tearing through the city.

"Rain Streets" #5 Mitsuko

---

“Carrying the echoes of the past.”

Mitsuko was designed with a strong connection to the previous generation in mind.

The old garage she grew up around,
the armor once worn by “that character,”
and the lingering traces of past battles
were all built directly into the design.

Even though she belongs to a new generation,
I wanted her to carry the atmosphere of something older.

The armor wasn’t meant to feel sleek or high-tech,
but more like equipment that’s been used and passed down over time.

Despite the heavy appearance,
her fighting style is very direct and grounded,
focused on throws and power-based combat.

Really liked the post-rain foggy atmosphere in this version.

“Ignite your soul!”

When it comes to Fighting Vipers,
cola just feels mandatory.

So I made a cheesy soda commercial-style video for it.

Probably tastes extra fizzy. Probably.

Fighting Vipers Re:Bite
"Rain Streets" #4 Osaka

---

“Stillness before motion.”

Osaka was designed around the contrast between traditional elegance and street energy.

Her fighting style is built on calm, flowing movement,
followed by sudden bursts of speed and precision.

The leopard pattern wasn’t added just to look flashy.

It actually came from the name “Osaka” itself —
I wanted part of the city’s loud, bold energy to exist inside an otherwise refined character design.

Also pushed the ponytail much further than usual here,
mostly because it matched the silhouette and motion perfectly.

eally liked how the rain emphasized the flow of the hair in this version.

Fighting Vipers Re:Bite
"Rain Streets" #3 Becky

----

“Fight first. Go viral later.”

Becky is a character who’s always aware of being watched.

Her tricks, poses, and movements are designed to feel performative,
like she’s turning every fight into content.

But underneath the playful energy,
she’s extremely competitive.

The skateboard isn’t just equipment —
it’s part of how she expresses herself.

Really liked how the rain brought out the street vibe here.

"Rain Streets" #2 Gracie

---
He looks calm on the outside,
but he’s constantly burning with anger underneath.

Gracie fights by instinct before reason,
so his style is built around momentum rather than stopping.

“Quiet Rage.”

Tried to capture that feeling here.
