The work has begun for a new state-of-the-art track surface to be installed this summer.

The project marks another major investment into Cardinal athletics and will provide an upgraded training surface for future generations of Cardinals.

TRACK & FIELD | With wins in TAPPS classifications 1A and 6A, Fredericksburg Heritage School and Houston St. Thomas enhanced their positions in the list of all-time boys state meet champions.

Dallas First Baptist Academy (2A) is one of the three schools with five crowns, which includes Addison Trinity Christian Academy and Dallas Tyler Street Christian Academy.

Lubbock Christian School (4A) won their fourth title ever, Fort Worth Covenant Classical School (3A) its second straight and one of TAPPS' charter (initial member) schools, Fort Worth Christian School (5A), won their first state track title - boys or girls - on Saturday.
