It is with deep sorrow that I announce the death of our brother Gen. Moses Ali. He died today at Nakasero Hospital, at 1600 hours. Gen Moses Ali has provided service to his country for a long time, as a soldier and a political leader.

In the West Nile region, he provided the good example of being a big modern farmer. We shall miss greatly his contribution. May the Almighty God rest his soul in eternal peace.

Pan-Africanism is more than an idea it is a call to action. The artificial borders imposed during the colonial era should never define the limits of African unity, cooperation, and shared destiny. Political and economic integration, alongside the free movement of people, goods, and ideas, must remain central to our vision for a stronger Africa and a united East Africa.

We must reject tribalism, ethnic nationalism, sectarianism, stereotyping, xenophobia, and all forms of division that weaken our collective progress. Our diversity is our strength, not a reason for conflict. The future belongs to Africans who choose solidarity over suspicion, cooperation over division, and unity over prejudice.

Let us embrace the spirit of Ubuntu and Ndugu recognizing that our humanity and prosperity are interconnected. Together, we can build an Africa where every citizen is valued, every community is respected, and every nation contributes to a shared continental future.
