Last week, Uganda made history with the launch of its very first satellite, The PearlAfricaSat-1. In partnership with the Japanese government, with the Presidential Directive on Space Technology, Uganda is able to greatly further its efforts in space exploration.

Only a handful of people know what it’s like to be an astronaut, to float freely in space, unbound by gravity. But with Virtual Reality technology, attendees were able to visit the International Space Station.
