@britishbirds@ZEISSBirding@__BBRC Thank you British Birds. It was a very nice, and totally unexpected, surprise. Also many thanks to Zeiss for their continued sponsorship. The binoculars are great. 👍
HUME'S LEAF WARBLER: The Old Barn, Easington.
Present for it's 5th day. Not seen on this occasion. Heard giving a few calls initially. Forty minutes later it began calling regularly for a minute or so.

HUME'S WARBLER - Spurn
Easington Gas Terminal Woods. Showing and calling this morning [after playing hard to get yesterday - c/o Colin Bushell]. One of two birds in Easington Village at the moment and Spurn's third of the autumn thus far.

Sõrve Bird Observatory, Estonia.
Only one way to celebrate yesterday’s 18 Lesser Spotted Eagles and that’s with a piece of delicious cake. Gorgeous Honey Buzzard just gone over.
FIRECREST: Spurn, East Yorkshire early morning 020525 - close to the old Blue Bell pub. Singing its heart out. If you can't love a fire-capped king you ain't got no soul. A real beauty.

EUROPEAN BEE-EATER
Just above the SPURN Bird Observatory garden tower early afternoon. Complemented the glorious sunshine very nicely. Lovely sight and sound.

We don’t care if you’re David Beckham, we’ll call you out for the vile practice of bird shooting.
It’s repulsive, cruel, and utterly shameful. There’s no excuse for this disgusting practice.
@angus_young61 I remember talk several years ago about this stretch of the river (including the north side of the bridge) being turned into the Venice of the north. Still waiting.
