Harrowing words from a senior emergency medicine doctor showing the despair at not being able to provide the level of care every doctor hopes to for their patients. Every doctor, nurse & HCW can empathise with this right now.

The fabulous Dr Fran @FYarlett discussing why you may be bleeding while using contraception. One of the most commonly asked questions during a contraception consultation #contraception
Excited to be at the Lowdown event celebrating #WCD2022@FYarlett is an Ambassador and we’re chuffed to bits that we can have this display #contraception
Tonight Dr Fran and one of our users let me sit in on their contraception consultation. It reminded me how complicated it can be to weigh up what’s the right method for you, and how proud I am of what we do 💪

@VikiLovesFACS Hi Viki - still loving all your work. Wondered if you’re getting any of this on Instagram and trying to engage with any pregnancy “influencers” to encourage vaccination. I’m still getting a lot of hesitant pregnant women, they’re all getting copies of your explainer!!
Looking at 3371 #pregnant ppl admitted to hospital with #COVID19 March 2020 - July 2021.
👉🏻 Chance of moderate or severe disease is higher now than in previous waves, BUT...
👉🏻 No-one admitted to hospital had had 2x doses of #vaccine.

Are you pregnant or had your baby in the last three months? @medsinpregnancy are running a short survey to understand how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected you. Take part: https://t.co/Eki9W0A2vl
This dataset from Ontario follows 30,892 ppl who received the #COVID19#vaccine during #pregnancy.
3,236 of those have now had their babies.
👉🏻 No increased risk of preterm birth, stillbirth or small for gestational age.

This is important for two reasons.
1. It's the first clear evidence that the #COVID19#vaccine does prevent COVID in #pregnant people.
2. More evidence on the safety of these vaccines in pregnancy. 3/3
@caitlinmoran@TVNaga01 We would love to speak to you more about this from our campaign via @gettheldown and @get.the.lowdown on Instagram. Myself and the other medical director have lots to say on the matter!
