@koeppelmann Imo it’s because speculative price development is still (in 90-99% of cases) the reason why people buy these token. As soon as crypto is less of an asset class and more of technology to facilitate ownership and governance and operations, these correlations should decrease.
@BillAckman Yo Bill - Congrats in your Harvard Stint and all. But how come I can’t find your Herbalife Nutrition Club Deck anywhere? Who wants to be a millionaire is easily available, but Nutrition Club - The Big Lie is nowhere to be found???
@Jenny_Szn Marriage was never really about love and it’s still not. Marriage is much more of a business deal than we as a society are comfortable discussing.
@ole_b_peters Where‘s „significant taxation of polluters“? why do we expect us to make lifestyle choices to avoid a very abstract/distant consequence when a majority of us cannot even change their lifestyle to keep themselves healthy (not abstract or distant).
@LaurenzRod@Aella_Girl You need to differentiate financial costs and costs of implementation (bureaucracy etc.). Financial costs are always there (if you have taxes), and typically quite unfair. Current tax systems just impose additional friction by adding complexity (diff. taxes, only tax profits).
@0xngmi Its basically the regulatory costs introduced by aml/kyc and the rents that the privileged banks with access to international financial markets / payments infrastructure can charge. Its just not a competitive market…
@functi0nZer0 This is basically US behavior in any situation.
US: *does sth.*
Other country: *does the same or a very similar thing*
US: How dare you?
Its like a law of nature, like @DeutscheBankAG being somehow involved in any large scale financial crime…
@parker_mckee@KyleSamani Lol, i thinking the same thing. ChatGPT knows ethers.js better than half of the evm developers, but we‘re supposed to make it „easier“ for AI?
@lightclients It would without a doubt be positive for user numbers, but i‘d wager that most of the folks who‘re wallstreetbettin‘ but not into crypto made that choice because of UX. Ultimately, imo - people don‘t ape into UX, they ape into narrative. For investments, UX is friction at best.
@lightclients Not everybody is an investor, if anything, crypto already made more people „investors“ than anybody expected. This effort was successful because of the get-rich-quick-narrative. UX is unlikely going to make the difference regarding this decision (imo)..
Ein Startup aus Mittweida bietet Startup-Finanzierung per Blockchain. Neufund war daran gescheitert. Doch der neue Ansatz könnte klappen. https://t.co/vjqEYgTrfb
@nickbtts@KoinlyOfficial when i say missed critical data, i mean that they simply didn‘t capture some relevant transactions of a specific chain were an automated data pull was offered. Personally saw this as a no-go, since then i could trust no data pull/integration..
@nickbtts@KoinlyOfficial If you can export the manual txs, you can typically re-format them easily by renaming some columns / switching their position.
Regarding tooling: i have done this exercise a while ago and found that all tools either missed some critical data or were impossible to adjust/adapt…
