I swear “nice guy syndrome” is a real thing. My friend and I were talking about how we’ve both gone on dates with genuinely nice guys, but we just didn’t feel any attraction. The weird part is we almost felt guilty for not liking them because they were such good people.

Obviously, everyone wants a kind, respectful partner. But sometimes when someone is too nice right away, it can feel like there’s no mystery, confidence, or chemistry. Being a good person is essential, but attraction is more complicated than just being nice.
