I believe in the intelligence and ability of every golfer to understand good concepts and principles. Dumbing it down is an excuse at times for incomplete info THAT MAKES IT MORE DIFFICULT. People can run businesses, households, pass drivers test can understand golf terminology.
Players: All players want to win! People do not differ in their desire to win; they differ in the price they are willing to pay every day to win!
-Have a detailed plan for what you want to accomplish
-Be consistent
-Don’t skip workouts
-Manage time
-Sacrifice
-Trust the process
When putting from <10 ft NEVER be short...
from >30 ft make ur goal to get a good read and hit the putt the exact distance as the hole (not to make the putt).
10-29 ft focus on making the putt but speed control must be the priority.
Coaches: There is absolutely no better formula for success than a clear purpose, high expectations, accountability, family atmosphere, & genuine, positive relationships.
Dustin Johnson following 8 shot win: “You guys would know better than me but I don’t think I made a putt outside 10 ft all week”...
That may be telling.
