@realMaalouf He speaks fluent Swiss German, so I doubt he’s a recent migrant. The other guy sits at Starbucks with two beers. The story isn’t what it first seems. Violence is never okay, but context matters.
@pimpwinneche Are you seriously still defending CS2 ? You're losing more and more credibility. Tier 3 games are full of cheaters and betting scams, premier is the same, Faceit too. And how can they release an update full of bugs? Because they simply don’t care.
@MarosSefcovic@EUCouncil@EUinSwitzerland The 120 meetings you mentioned highlight the complexity of the process, but from my viewpoint, it also seems to reflect a high degree of bureaucracy (2).
@MarosSefcovic@EUCouncil@EUinSwitzerland A balanced and respectful solution that acknowledges the democratic principles of both sides would be in everyone’s best interest. (7)
@MarosSefcovic@EUCouncil@EUinSwitzerland As move forward towards a possible agreement, I hope that the EU will take into account not only political considerations but also the impact on the daily lives of the many EU citizens who have made Switzerland their home. (6)
@MarosSefcovic@EUCouncil@EUinSwitzerland We value the opportunities we have in Switzerland and appreciate the country's system and values. Unfortunately, many of us also feel disappointed by the EU’s stance, which seems at times to overlook our interests as EU citizens who contribute to and are part of Swiss society.(5)
@MarosSefcovic@EUCouncil@EUinSwitzerland Moreover, it is worth noting that 1.5 million EU citizens live in Switzerland, making up 20% of the population. Many of us, myself included, feel that our voices are not being sufficiently represented in the EU’s approach to these talks. (4)
@MarosSefcovic@EUCouncil@EUinSwitzerland In Switzerland, decisions are made with a deep respect for the will of the people, as direct democracy plays a central role in shaping policy. I fear that this important aspect of Swiss political culture is not being fully considered in the negotiations. (3)
@MarosSefcovic@EUCouncil@EUinSwitzerland Dear Vice President,
As an EU citizen living in Switzerland, I am closely following these discussions and feel the need to share my perspective.
