عام 2003 تم غزو العراق وتدميره.

عام 2011 تم تدمير ليبيا.

عام 2012 تم فرض العقوبات النفطية الخانقة على إيران، ثم أُعيد فرضها بصورة أشد عام 2018.

عام 2019 تم فرض العقوبات الخانقة على قطاع النفط الفنزويلي.

عام 2022 تم جر روسيا إلى حرب مدمرة ومعاقبة قطاعها النفطي.

عام 2026 تم شن حرب على إيران أدت إلى سحق أجزاء من القطاع النفطي الخليجي في الكويت والبحرين وقطر والإمارات، وقد يتم سحق القطاع النفطي السعودي قريباً.

كل هذا يجري بينما يتسارع الإنتاج النفطي الأمريكي ويتعاظم، واليوم أصبحت أمريكا أكبر منتج للنفط في العالم، وتستفيد من سحق منافسيها وإخراجهم من السوق أو تحجيمهم بالكامل.

ارتفع إنتاج النفط الأمريكي من نحو 5 ملايين برميل يومياً عام 2008 إلى أكثر من 13.5 مليون برميل يومياً اليوم، أي بزيادة تجاوزت 8 ملايين برميل يومياً، أو نحو 170%.

وفي المقابل، خسر العراق وليبيا وإيران وفنزويلا وروسيا مجتمعة ملايين البراميل والان دول الخليج أيضاً من إنتاجها وصادراتها بسبب الحروب والعقوبات والفوضى، بينما دخل النفط الأمريكي ليملأ الفراغ ويستولي على حصصهم في السوق العالمية.
