Other creators avoid AI visuals - I prefer them, as they let me upscale old photos and create my own stock images. In total, around 95% of the photos I use are created or enhanced with Gemini.
6 monetized channels. 0 demonetizations. The difference isn't AI - it's the editing.
@DailyYTNiches Uncertainty only exists when there's no editing involved. However, with proper multilayered editing, where visuals aren't simply shown full-screen but are integrated into a dynamic edit, monetisation is virtually never an issue. I have 6 monetised channels with AI voice/visuals.
@sudoSoftAI For me, it's not the editing that takes the most time. It's finding and creating the visuals. I work in a niche where there aren't many photos available, so I often have to create AI reconstructions. Sometimes I spend an entire day just to get a few usable shots. Painful 😱😭
@TIBoine@boomerrbryan Not at all. 6/7 of my channels are voiced by AI and use AI visuals to some degree, and none of them ever got demonetized. The trick is to actually edit like a real documentary, with constant movement, pacing, transitions, and storytelling.
@grundstromleo I love editing my videos myself, even if it takes me way more than 6 hours. No editor would obsess over the details the way I do, spend time restoring and enhancing photos with AI or Photoshop, or build so many tiny visual details into every scene.
@boomerrbryan Finally someone who actually understands what’s happening instead of screaming “faceless YouTube is dead” for engagement. This is one of the first nuanced takes I’ve seen on SynthID.
The biggest point here is that AI voices were never the real product. Editorial judgment was.
@timdanilovhi Oh, stop the fearmongering. There’s no way that’s happening. They’ll use it either to automatically label content as AI-generated when creators don’t disclose it, or to ban people who keep breaking the rules. But a default button to remove AI content entirely? Not happening.
@DevenSeenath I think AI voices only become a problem when the visuals are also AI-generated or Blender-made. Using photos or real footage with an AI voice is usually fine, especially with proper editing.
@joeyleeyt It’s more of an animation style than a niche. So realistically, the ones who come up with fresh topics will stick around, while those just copying others or churning out endless variations of the same thing (like those POVs) will eventually fade out.
