Yesterday, people in Adana #Türkiye stayed silent so that emergency workers could hear where survivors were located under the debris.

So far, we've mobilised 27 search & rescue and medical teams from 19 European countries via the #EUCivilProtectionMechanism to help 🇹🇷 after the earthquake, together over 1150 rescuers and 70 rescue dogs.

The last visit of the day was organized to the Center for Climate Change . ♻️Detailed information was obtained about the scientific studies carried out by the center, which has been operating since 2008, in the fight against climate change. #climatechange #crisis @ulusalajans

Second stop was the "National Forests of North Macedonia" Detailed information was given to the project team, especially about the activities for the protection of forests against fires. The host team was informed about the work in Croatia and Türkiye. @cro_crisis_mgmt

We organized the second visit of the day to the Skopje fire station. Here we talked about the national and local organization of the Skopje Fire & Rescue Brigade. 🧑‍🚒🚒We also shared our knowledge on writing Erasmus projects with the Skopje Fire Brigade staff. 🇪🇺 @cro_crisis_mgmt
