The fake moon landing theories have been around a while, but they really took off lately because the crazy flat earther crowd needed to eliminate an obvious rebuttal for their arguments. The conspiracy theory spread beyond the flat earth crowd because people lack critical thinking skills. Funny how no one ever seems to question the Soviet unmanned landings, or the more recent landings by China, India and Japan.

This comes as no surprise. The morning after the 2020 election, every news outlet immediately began repeating the mantra "no evidence of fraud" - despite the fact that no one could possibly have investigated anything in the space of a few hours. They never stopped the propaganda and never bothered to investigate. Later, after Biden took office, many websites questioning election integrity quietly disappeared. It was a coordinated effort by the Democratic party, media and tech. Apparently, China was in on it as well.

RINOs have found ways to circumvent the primary system. Here's what happens. Dems love RINOs, so they cross the isle to vote in the GOP primary. They later vote for the Dem in the general election, so it's a win-win for Democrats. Meanwhile, a good conservative/MAGA candidate steps forward to run against the RINO in the primary. When that happens, several other conservatives are mysteriously persuaded that they are the perfect candidate and should run too. It's a coordinated, behind the scenes effort. The MAGA/conservative vote gets split. The RINO (who always gets the party funding) wins the primary via a coalition of Democrats, name recognition and GOP elitist voters. I've seen it happen for decades now.

Leftists took over Universities and destroyed the Education departments. Then, leftist administrators infused a bunch of utter BS into the system. Teachers are indoctrinated by administrators, and bullied by students and parents. It's the Stockholm syndrome. Only the strongest independent thinkers endure. The hard leftists remain because it's their turf, and they agree with the BS. Teachers claim it's about the money. It's not. With the exception of STEM fields, there are plenty of degreed positions with similar or worse pay scales. The problem is the way teachers are treated, and the way they are indoctrinated.

I'm no fan of red light cameras. We used to live in a city where they shortened all the yellow lights after installing the cameras. Shortest yellow light you can imagine. If you were in the intersection when the light turned red, you got a ticket. Stuck behind a slow moving truck? Too bad. Because of the fee structure, essentially all of the revenue was going to the company that ran them (not the city). If they had been utilized honestly, I wouldn't have minded. But it was quite a racket

I used to be very active in DAR. They gradually abandoned their emphasis of “God, Home and Country”. After a while, it just felt like a silly bureaucracy. Small chapters scramble to fill the never ending requirements for committee chairs and delegates. The standards for genealogical proof were becoming more and more burdensome. Dues were expensive. Glad I resigned. The trans stuff would have been the last straw had I stayed.

This is sad (and illegal). Unrelated comment: I am hyperallergic to dogs, and quickly develop breathing difficulties if one is nearby indoors (it seems to vary with breed). In instances of a real service dog (such as this), I'm happy to accommodate them and leave the premises. However, I absolutely hate the trend of bringing non-service pet dogs everywhere. I avoid places that are "dog friendly", but sometimes encounter them despite efforts at avoidance.

I had an acquaintance who received a clean bill of health in her 5 year followup for breast cancer. Soon afterwards she developed turbo cancer. She was dead within a month of the "complete remission" diagnosis, of breast cancer. So tragic. I never had the chance to ask, but I believe it was the booster. This was in 2023, and seniors were still being vaccinated like crazy.

I recently saw a post by Nicholas Hulscher (MPH). You can look up his channel. As weird as it sounds, a form of acupuncture has been almost completely effective in reversing Alpha-gal syndrome after only one treatment. It was documented in a peer reviewed study. Look up certified practitioners of Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment (SAAT). I plan to try it, if I ever suspect a meat allergy. I hope things work out for you!

The GOP is worthless, and has been for a couple of decades. Many in Congress are corrupt, spineless and/or in league with the Dems. Democrats push their agenda full speed ahead when in power. When Republicans gain power, they suddenly become enamored of bipartisanship. In truth, they prefer to lose. They can fundraise and complain with zero accountability. It's actually better now than it was twenty years ago, but there are still way too many turncoats.

A church we attended met in a small venue. They had a volunteer “worship team” and a drummer with no concept of appropriate dynamics. The epitome of poor musicianship. Played everything as loudly as he could: The noise was deafening. I wished they could have fired him. Instead they bought a plexiglass enclosure, since drummers don’t come with a mute button.

During the Vietnam War, many leftists avoided the draft through educational deferments. They stayed in college indefinitely, getting PhDs. They became professors. The ideological framework shifted. Leftists were promoted to positions of leadership in academia. Gradually the whole system became an indoctrination factory. Leftists are not interested in truth, only ideology. Oddly enough, this happened in seminaries as well. That's why the formerly mainline churches went woke.
