It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Prophet (SAW) said: “A grateful eater is equal to a patient fasting person.”
(Sunan Ibn Majah 1764, Book 7, Hadith 127)
Send blessings daily upon the Prophet (SAW). Say Allahumma sale Allah sayiddina Muhammad wali washabi wa salum. Whoever says prayer on the Prophet (SAW) one time, Allah gives his rahma on him ten times. Do this short adhkar 100 times in the morning and 100 times in the evening.

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever does not give up forged speech and evil actions, Allah is not in need of his leaving his food and drink (i.e. Allah will not accept his fasting.)"
