The interview between Tucker Carlson and Donald Trump was posted on X on August 24, 2023. As of now, the video has been viewed over 254 million times.
The reason for the discrepancy is that @X 's "views" metric counts any time the video appears in a user's feed, even if the user does not click on it or watch it. This can lead to inflated view counts, especially for videos that are shared widely.
In the case of the Carlson-Trump interview, the high view count is likely due to the fact that it was a highly anticipated interview between two popular figures. The interview also took place on the same day as the first Republican primary debate, which may have also contributed to the high number of views.
Despite the inflated view count, the Carlson-Trump interview was still a significant event that attracted a large audience. It is likely to be remembered as one of the most talked-about interviews of the 2024 presidential election cycle.
