@_LisaCherry Such an important point. Spent years going through my traumatised son’s EHCP changing outcomes about independence to interdependent. Kept getting changed back. They probs just thought it a typo.
@HebLongbottom Quite right too. None of us can pour from an empty cup. However it is a genuinely hard thing to do but that’s not because you’re a bit sad but because you care about excellence. I’m pretty sure you will work better than ever this week. Enjoy 😉
@maxdavie I get that some people are ok bring called mum. However to default to that without asking is like defaulting to calling the SENCO “SENCO” and the OT “OT” etc . It’s actually quite odd.
@DCHStrust @TracyAllenDCHS Congratulations Tracy . I’d have you right up at the top of my list. Pragmatic innovative nurturing brave. Great qualities in a leader.
A VALENTINE PRAYER
We pray today for those in love, those out of love, and those in between. We remember especially those who find themselves a little bit lonelier than normal.
@DocRods @ShaunLintern@stephen_t_webb@NHSEnglandLDN Let’s focus on the tap that’s wide open pushing the cases in rather than trying to make a plug for an already full bath from exhausted people. Roll out vaccines faster, test better, trace better. Sadly lockdown whilst you sort these things.
@KelseyMPH I’d be impressed with experience in restaurants and in hair and beauty. Restaurants show resilience, organisational skills, customer service. Hair and beauty is a great place to learn, compassion, care, respect and demonstrate humanity. Great job @KelseyMPH
Hope so. Don’t see evidence yet. Also need 2 highlight that children with early years trauma may now be in great families. These children may be freeze/submit mode at school, look fine but struggling inside. Release it all at home. At risk of tipping into fight/flight at school
Great article on trauma-informed practice in schools. ‘We're always there for them': is the tide turning against zero-tolerance in UK schools? https://t.co/fbPuUS3J4D
Thanks for sharing @helenbevan and thanks to @theQCommunity . So much that is useful here. Highlight for me in the attitudes is outcome focused. We can forget to start with what do you want to be better when you're done. So simple but often we jump in with structures and process
Great joined up thinking @DrDuaneRD . Re-tweeting here with my join up public services, 3rd sector and business hat on and also support as @EatingMindset Street food - I can smell the opportunity for health and financial wellbeing.
Another idea? @RishiSunak give grants to support development of healthy street food. Refurbish empty food shops/restaurants, engage the community, train & up skill, sell food on pay as you can. Improves health, improves employability and entrepreneurship and restarts high streets
UK set to award Covid-19 testing contracts worth £5bn to private bidders < this is breaching the hell out of the 2012 Health And Social Care Act, which like it or not, is the law. https://t.co/21gAziikjV
Well said @trishgreenhalgh . I’m shocked anyone could say this. Lots of people are dead. Lives before profit. Sure we need to kick start the economy but in a scientifically informed way. And this comment as the finally admits its App is not going to work.
