Will continue to focus on Monument of Triumph, but wanted to take a moment to praise the team on Marathon.
Very, very excited for S2 tomorrow. The team is continuing to build upon the experience and rapidly pull in player feedback. It’s been so damn cool to see things as they evolve.
Rooting for the team, every moment of every day.
Will see some of y’all on Tau Ceti tomorrow, and back in Tower on June 9.
💛
Play Marathon if you want to. I think it’s really fun, I have 500 hours.
If you don’t want to play it then don’t. If you want a D3 it’s not your responsibility to play Marathon. Spend your time and money on what you enjoy
Watching I love Boosters felt like doing a line of crack, followed by 21 shots and taking SSRIs and sitting through the hallucinations. It was really good 😂
Anyone else find it weird that the past 2 black characters introduced to Marvel Rivals have had to start in JAIL before they become playable? Because that comes off really weird…
Blocking the word Mixtape for about a week because both sides irritate me. Stop comparing it to games that it’s not; and if it’s not your type of game, don’t play it 😭.
My take on Mixtape is that the high review scores were surprising, but it's not for me and I'm going to play other games instead of spending hours online analyzing every small detail and arguing with randoms about how it is good / bad / destroying gaming / saving gaming.
Just doesn’t sit right with me, because if you told me it’s like Life is Strange and I paid my $20 to play the game and I played mixed tape I’d be pissed. Mixtape is a linear, non-branching experience, a visual novel (a type of game, don’t let anyone fool you) and that’s okay
I have some thoughts on Mixtape because well…it’s prevalent. Mixtape 100% deserves to exist; what does or does not constitute a game will be forever debated but I’m of a belief it is indeed a game even if there’s no risk involved. however let’s get the type of game classified 1/
It’s definitely a visual novel/narrrative but it is NOT a Life is Strange or Dispatch, those have some sort of branching path or narrative that contains risks and there’s nothing inherently wrong with Mixtape not having those but seeing people say that it’s like those games 2/?
