My wallet is gone!?
After watching Canada vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Toronto Fan Festival for the FIFA World Cup 2026, I realized my wallet was missing while topping up my PRESTO card.
I opened iPhone Find My app and followed the signal to the Hyatt lobby.
The staff had it safely stored in a drawer. Someone had turned it in.
Toronto, the city where even lost wallets find their way back.
Honestly, this city has class.
If the person who turned it in happens to see this, please message me. I’d love to thank you properly.
Thank you to the person who returned it, the Hyatt staff, Apple, and the classy Torontonians. I love TO.

Max Crepeau, back home, sheds a tear, too 🥲
An incredible run with the most passionate fans in the game. Thank you for being with us every step of the way

A Heartbreaking Loss in the Hockey World
The hockey community continues to mourn Claude Lemieux, the four-time Stanley Cup champion who passed at age 60. Friends say he died of a “broken heart” from long-term depression and feelings of rejection, especially not being inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame despite his legendary playoff career.
Just days prior, he received a huge ovation carrying the torch at the Bell Centre for the Montreal Canadiens.
Celebrating his stellar career: A fierce competitor, Lemieux won Cups with the Canadiens (1986), Devils (1995, 2000), and Avalanche (1996). He earned the 1995 Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP and was known for his grit and big-moment intensity over two decades.
Even champions battle silent struggles. There is always hope and help available. If hurting, reach out—you’re not alone. You matter and you are loved. In the US, call or text 988 anytime.
Rest in peace, Claude. Your impact lives on. Thoughts with his family. 🏒❤️

The FIFA World Cup trophy – a prize dreamt about by soccer players and fans alike, arrived in Ottawa today. Prime Minister Carney welcomed the trophy as part of its North American tour, as Canada gets set to co-host the 2026 tournament in just a few weeks.
