Some people have said that the wallet appearing in almost every @Pumpfun graduated token belongs to the @Pumpfun protocol itself and is used to collect trading fees.
They added that the wallet isnβt buying tokens, it receives its fees in the token being traded and later sells those accumulated tokens for SOL.
Assuming this explanation is accurate, then I have a suggestion for @alon and the @pumpdotfun team.
Could the fee mechanism be redesigned so that trading fees are collected directly in SOL instead of the token being traded?
That could reduce continuous sell pressure from the protocolβs fee wallet and eliminate a lot of confusion among project teams and their communities, who often mistake the wallet for a whale dumping the token.
I believe this would improve transparency and create a better experience for everyone building on @solana or @Pumpfun.
