The @LFG_GTFO Gladiator Mayhem leaderboard grind is seriously next level right now!
While most players are chasing LFG starts and fighting for top spots, I’ve been focusing on something different. Practicing my control and really learning how to play with Enjin.
For those who don’t know yet, the @LFG_GTFO Lighting Forge Games team recently brought back Enjin, a samurai warrior from the Imperial Fraction. They haven’t released all the warriors from this fraction yet, but I’m really hoping we’ll see the rest soon. I actually played Enjin way back during the early Alpha, then he (along with some others) got removed for a while. Now he’s back in the open beta, and I think this slow, one-by-one character release is a smart move. It keeps the game fresh and exciting.
Enjin is a close range swordsman who feels super cool to play. He can also strike from pretty far away using his special powers, which is his big strength. The challenge, though is that his health, basic attacks and defense aren’t the strongest, especially when you compare him to tanks like Thok and Bjorn.
Thok is a solid all rounder with good attack, defense, and health. Super dependable.
Bjorn is a proper tank with high defense and health, plus decent damage.
Both are close range fighters, so they can overpower Enjin in a direct brawl. And if you face Valkyrie… it gets rough. She has similar health and defense to Enjin, but her long-range attacks give her a huge advantage.
You can definitely still win against her (and Thok/Bjorn), but it takes excellent dodging, smart dash usage, and really good decision making.
That’s why picking the right hero and team combo matters so much.
If you’ve already played with Enjin, drop your thoughts in the comments!
