@MethodDan We talked about football mainly because Oggcamp is in Manchester this year and the only thing @bkuhn_ebb_org knows about Manchester is they have a football team that's sometimes on TV in the USA.
#FaiFCast 0x64, includes an on-site interview at #CopyleftConf 2019 w/ @MethodDan, who is the producer of this very podcast (among many other things). Hear Dan's views on football (which is what everyone else calls soccer, USAmericans ;) as well as #FOSS. https://t.co/RjQjq02dLl
The final installment of the Free as in Freedom podcast about the @fosdem 2019 open keynote is here! Listen in & hear an insider's view of what it's like in the final hours of prepping a keynote for an audience of thousands at #FOSDEM 2019. https://t.co/U4TO6rFijh
We released #FaiF 0x62, third in our four part series about our #FOSDEM 2019 keynote. This is the last episode of final preparations before we give the talk, in which @o0karen0o & @bkuhn_ebb_org focus on the issue of others using proprietary software on your behalf. #FaiFCast
@mcepl@osmandapp@bkuhn_ebb_org@o0karen0o@OsmanD More digging shows that partof @osmand is non-free: https://t.co/DzkaIFAeeP Has anyone analyzed what parts of this app are under the non-free Creative "Commons" NC-ND license listed there?
Please enjoy #FaiFCast 0x61. The second in our three-part series of preparation discussions for our joint #FOSDEM keynote. If you don't want spoilers, listen to 0x60, 0x61 and 0x62 *before* you watch our FOSDEM keynote! https://t.co/4ovr6GBhk3
@mcepl@osmandapp@bkuhn_ebb_org@o0karen0o Also, just noticed that @osmand uses a proprietary relicensing business model (or seems to per: License section at https://t.co/ywHQFlOuVf ). Doesn't make it non-free by any means, but still disconcerting and would make us worry that what's installed from Play store isn't FOSS.
