There were two possible ways to develop FairDrop: build a suite of features and let users pick and choose what they want, OR launch with a streamlined use-case and have usage drive the application as adoption occurs.

We chose the latter.

In it’s current state, FairDrop does one task…very well. Proving that no two people can own a wallet on our verified-address whitelist.

The intention is for project founders to manage their projects with verified individuals. Precise use cases could include live events, mints, and, of course, airdrops. Think CAPATCHA, but truly curated for Web3.

As the most practical and beneficial use cases get pounded out, we will start layering on a new suite of custom features for Fairdrop. But in the meantime, our focus is on growing out the list and encouraging projects to launch through Fairdrop.
