Our client (and assessor) has three more cards coming from Beckett. Overall, they were decent cards. We cannot promise 100% all the time, but they were good cards.

If they come back as badly grades as this, we will be forced to completely bar BGS from our Assessment Roster.

Confirmation from our Assessor.

We did the assessment ourselves, and agree V: this card has no visible flaws.

- The edges and corners show no sign of denting, bends, or curves
- Ink is where it needed to be
- Centering is confirmed

Clearly, a mistake was made.

We understand being over staffed, and we understand the monotony that can come with seeing card after card.

But this is unacceptable grading. This card is worth $1.48K max, $400 minimum. The client waited 3 months.

This card deserved more intense scrutiny for a proper result.

Hi,

Earlier this month, I sent someone $9,500 for a lot of cards. It’s now been 20 days, and I have no cards and no money returned.

For days, this person insisted the cards were shipped. I asked repeatedly for tracking — and eventually, they admitted they never shipped anything. They even fabricated a shipping cost to further the lie.

This was someone I thought I could trust. A big name on X. But here we are, now 7 days into waiting for a wire that still hasn’t come through. Every day, it’s been a new excuse.

This has completely shaken me. I’ve lost sleep. I’ve had no appetite. $9,500 is life-changing money to lose.

I’m not naming the individual yet, as this is likely escalating to a legal case. I'm sorry to have abruptly left.

If we cannot adjust, we can only give you a bigger ballpark for potential grades, which is overall not as helpful.

@PSAcard has been more respectable, and their grading has been fair. Their prices are reasonable, and they stick to their metric.

🚨GRADING NOTICE🚨

Our top accessor had trust in Beckett to be an honest grading establishment.

We’ve seen various BCG slabs, and found some small details missed or no evidence of issue.

This, plus a “premium fee”, makes us not recommend Beckett for fair grades in good faith.

If it is assessed to be a 10 or higher, we will also be requesting a return of the secondary payment as this was an improper grading.

If a client states that they are intending to get their card graded at Beckett, our assessment metric will have to adjust to compensate.
