@CommonsDCMS report supports "a right to equitable remuneration when music is consumed by digital means." Current business models are both unfair and unsustainable. This has to change! #ER4streaming#FixSTreaming
UK MPs call for 'complete reset' of music #streaming business model. Equitable remuneration = modern + sustainable solution! #ER4streaming#FixStreaming

Now is the time to make #streaming fair to ALL music performers. Equitable remuneration is a modern and sustainable solution #ER4Streaming#FixStreaming https://t.co/p5zMfwdelo
We continue our proactive campaign in support of all EU performers and advocating for their rights! Stay tuned of our upcoming activities and follow us to show that Europeans want their performers to be fairly remunerated! #FairInternet4P#FixCopyright!
.@BGEUPresidency published a document on the #Copyright Reform , ahead of the 12/02 meeting... disappointed to see that the proposed unwaivable right to fair remuneration for EU performers is again not in the focus!
Not only big business interests matter! Support EU performers!
Tdy COREPER @EUCouncil will discuss #CopyrightReform's remaining controversial issues: We believe that among the crucial aspects is the call of 500K EU performers for an unwaivable right to fair remuneration from the online exploitation of their artistic work. Make #DSMeu fair!
We call on the @Europarl_EN to not turn its back to 500K EU performers, to support the efforts of @HelgaTruepel and to make sure that our performers are fairly remunerated for their work available on the #DSMeu#Copyright#FairInternet4P https://t.co/B0j5wSTQtM
The copyright debate is far from being over and we continue proactively supporting the EU performers in their fight for unwaivable right to fair remuneration from the online exploitation of their creative work. #copyright#FairInternet4P follow us and stay tuned!
.@BGEUPresidency published a Working Document revealing further discussions required on the #CopyrightReform file. We call on the new Presidency of the Council to hear the voice of 500K EU performers, and empower them on the #DSMeu by introducing a right to fair remuneration!
The united voice of the EU performers is clear: only an unwaivable right to equitable remuneration for on demand use, paid by on-demand platforms and subject to mandatory collective management will guarantee a “fair proportionate and equitable remuneration” @AxelVossMdEP
To Mr @AxelVossMdEP, and @EP_Legal: The latest changes to article 15, introducing a new condition to the benefit of the right to claim a contractual adjustment, would make the entire article meaningless. EU performers need real measures to receive their fair share from the #DSMeu
.@AxelVossMdEP, contractual freedom is largely non-existent for performers. A “fair proportionate and equitable remuneration” cannot be implemented by way of a simple principle (new recital 39a and article 14a) and it won't be achieved for all performers through articles 14-16.
.@EP_Legal's compromise AMs to art. 14-16 of the #copyright file DO NOT take into account the concerns of 500K EU performers. It is utterly disappointing that no adequate measures are envisaged to allow performers earn fairly from the massive online exploitation of their work!
Fair Internet Campaign wishes you a happy new year! Throughout 2018 we will continue our proactive campaign in support of all EU performers! We believe that they deserve fair treatment in the @DSMeu and that we have the support of the majority of the EU citizens for achieving it!
.@EP_Legal has a rare chance to make the Copyright Directive work for the EU performers. Their call is clear: Introduce unwaivable right to fair remuneration! All other alternatives will not guarantee a sustainable future for our performers, whose work we all enjoy! https://t.co/CGA5gAcjvt
@EP_Legal soon to discuss art 14-16. Performers need a sustainable future guaranteeing fair remuneration. Transparency and court adjustment mechanism will not achieve this. Support unwaivable right to remuneration! @FairInternet4P@AxelVossMdEP
Fair Internet Coalition calls on @EP_Legal to introduce unwaivable right to fair remuneration for performers! They deserve their fair share from the online exploitation of their creative work! #CopyrightDirective#FixCopyright4P@AxelVossMdEP
EU performers cannot wait for the next #CopyrightReform! The EP and @EP_Legal have their chance to make #DSMeu a fair place, which works for all, now. Performers do not receive their fair share, and this must be addressed @AxelVossMdEP#FairInternet4P https://t.co/Y5sKxqUwhv
@LionelBently shall performers wait another 15 years for the next copyright reform? A right to remuneration is already working in practice for radio broadcasting and even in Spain for on demand. @aepoartis
