This week is “Kindness Week” at Fairfields. We will be learning about the importance of random acts of kindness and linking this to Anti Bullying week. If you spot one of our children displaying an act of kindness, please let us know so we can celebrate it!

Our second week back after the summer break and we have had our Ofsted visit. Two days to look at our quality of education, celebrate successes and show what we are all about.

So over the Summer holidays there has been lots going on in school. Key Stage 2 have returned upstairs and the staff have been working their socks off to ensure that the classrooms and shared spaces are as inviting and exciting as ever. We are so excited to see you all!

It’s National “Thank a teacher” day today. We want to say a huge thank you to all our teachers and support staff for all that you do for our children. Always going above and beyond. 💜💜💜

We’ve been working on this a while… our amazing children and staff wanted to say thank you to the incredibly generous families and members of our community, who donated over £1000 to our school. This will be spent on IT resources to improve our children’s quality of education.

June is Pride month. At Fairfields we encourage the children to be tolerant, respectful and grateful for our differences. Next week in our assemblies we will take the opportunity to reflect on this in very simple terms. #pride 🌈

Tomorrow we see the start of “Walk To School Week. “ We would love to see as many children walking to school as possible. Which class will walk the most?!
