They want to maximize profits of other models too just because they launched/marketed Astra.

@m0agh To be honest, Gemini sounds really dumb after the big 3.0 update. It feels like its trying to act like Claude and hallucinates often/feels like a kid yapping. I used 2.5 web for years. It was a perfect side-assistant for coding and explaining things. Now its just better UI.

Pitched 4 ideas to my professor this week. All rejected.He picked the one I knew was the least original.

My angle was desktop native, AI based and not just another inbox.

Something that fetches from a bunch of subreddits and sources automatically instead of hoping manually. Thats the problem i face also.

Angerona’s been unstable lately, so leads were slipping through.

What I did:
Find leads with web AI, paste the JSON into Angerona, and let the rest run.

As a solo dev, manual json + followups +logging + weekly tips is huge time-saving. It made angerona unique and strong.

Just found out my outreach bot pitched DeepSeek's support inbox.

Lesson: never trust an LLM to follow 'skip big companies.' Thats a code check, period.

Adding a blocklist and email validator this weekend.
Assistant is crazy tho. Catching Deepseek bugs faster than their team😂.

Learned a term today, Sawdust. The byproduct of something you keep doing manually that turns out other people need too.

You notice the pattern. sell it as its own thing.

Angerona was my sawdustbuilt it for my own ease, realized the SOP + automation loop is the actual product.

Today's bugs I faced in Angerona:

1. One slow API call crashed the whole day's lead hunt.
retries now instead of dying on the first timeout.

2. Followups firing on bounced leads. Patched.

3. Sent but could not save status.

Making the assistant better every weekend/2 hours.
