Every country that thought Iran would “come good” got played, says Scott Morrison (@ScoMo30). Israel knew better-and so, he argues, does Trump.
Straight talk, no hedging, from a former PM who’s been consistent on issues relating to the middle east-credit to @Erin_Molan too for giving him the room to say it plainly.
His conversation on Iran, Trump, and moral clarity in the Middle East is worth the watch. ⬇️
Valiant Anthem won his first 870 race last night at Fair Meadows. Everyone at Ruiz Training Stables has been preparing him for this race 🙏🙏🙏. Glory to God.
In the event of a major war, Boom will pivot immediately and make defense products.
Wartime defense production should come primarily out of a commercial industrial base 1/n🧵
When I was stationed in England, I would ride the Tubes as often as possible to see London. Every single time, a section of the Tubes would be closed due to an IRA bomb threat. I would study the passengers during the announcements. No one flinched ever. England is lost.
It's with a heavy heart I write to you this morning. One of the pilots, my friend and former colleague, Lt Col (R) Miles "Vicky" Middleton was one of the two Boeing employees on the MA yesterday.
Lt Col Middleton was a graduate of USAF TPS class 05B and former commander of the 419th FLTS. He is survived by his wife Pam and two children.
I worked side by side with Vicky for two years. He was the best of the best. He always had a quick wit and deep technical knowledge of the BUFF and flight test procedure.
It deeply greaves me that his family lost their husband and father. The family has set up a Go Fund Me that I will link in the comments.
Please keep Pam and the children in your prayers.
Today is not only the U.S. Army birthday, but also Flag Day.
It is our duty and honor to defend the American flag and the nation it represents, today and every day.
Happy Flag Day, America. 🇺🇸
He is right. I am having trouble getting a referral from my PCP. The VA CCN contact person glorified in all the bureaucracy that had to occur before the referral could be approved. I will likely have to cancel my appointment if I can't get through the approval process nightmare.
This is Richard Webb. He's my father-in-law. He served two tours in Vietnam as a Marine Recon Sniper. He received two purple hearts for his service along with countless other medals.
This photo is seven years ago...
Today, Richard spends most days not knowing what the hell is going on because he developed type 2 diabetes from agent orange in Vietnam.
My wife has been fighting the VA for over a year to get Richard the care and benefits he needs just to survive. The process is a joke. The service is a bigger joke.
The VA case managers are absolute dog shit and treat our nation's heroes like garbage. They also act as if they're doing our vets a FAVOR for the most basic of care.
@SecVetAffairs, I've been to your headquarters building in DC, and have first hand experience dealing with the incompetent staff.
This is hands down the most embarrassing department in all of the Trump administration. If the Boss knew how horrendously our veterans are still being treated after you've had eighteen months to fix these issues, you'd be fired tomorrow.
I waited a long time to write this, but at this point I've seen enough.
At the airfield in England where the first US troops to see combat on D Day - pathfinders from the 101st Airborne - are now seated in a C-47, Plane One, waiting to take off.
