@SpireJim the bride price was received simply as an act of honor. It eventually got returned as a wedding contribution. Parents in law supported(& still do) the couple beyond what he brought. Received him like their very own

@SpireJim Dr I’m a fan but i partially disagree. I think the intent is what matters most. There is no absolute position in all this. Bride price is tricky when inspired by greed and parasitic intentions.
