Miguel goes stiff, the corner of his mouth twitching into a dazed smile as he takes in the view.

Following Miguel and Tory’s shared victory in the Sekai Taikai, Miguel headed to Tory’s apartment. They hadn’t hanged out together in a while.

He knocked on the door of her apartment, tucking his hands into his pockets as he waited for a response.

Johnny splutters. His brows shoot up and he blinks in bewilderment.

The curiosity piques and a jut of the chin makes room for the signature smirk that arises in full throttle.

Once again he examined his features, he looked more and more familiar but he couldn’t quite place it.

His sentence was cut off when taking another glance and realising who he reassembled.

Johnny shrugs indifferently.

Hearing that she was finally going to do karate was not a surprise to him but he was glad she’d finally get to try it.

He gave an excited look with an eyebrow raise.

“Heh, well it was only a matter of time. Is he going to make you into a champion like he did me?”

“There’s no way we would of been able to beat the Iron Dragons if you didn’t score as many points as you did.”

Miguel was in the Cobra Kai Dojo after everyone had already went home. He was placing his Sekai Taikai trophy up on the display. He felt as if it belonged there, where his karate journey began.
Hearing the dojo doors open he turned to see a familiar+

He walked in rather timidly, hands stuffed into his jeans pockets. The sight of Kwon in a hospital bed was all too familiar. He knew what it was like to be in that position.

“I just came to see how you were, what happened to you was awful, man..”

“Cobra Kai?”

He paused for a moment upon hearing the all too familiar name, regathering his thoughts before responding.

“I mean I was for a while. I trained under someone else though, not Kreese.”

He shrugs indifferently, randomly spewing potential scenarios.
