Med student (@FaithInScrubs) here. At 31 I left a stable 7-year career after a calling to medicine.

Now second in my class of 60, on the Dean’s List, and scored 92 on my final USMLE practice exam. I’m ready to test.

One obstacle remains: an $8k+ tuition hold from my Caribbean medical school. As a Canadian IMG, loans are blocked and I’m in a catch-22. I need roughly $10k total (tuition + exam fees) to clear the hold and sit Step 1 while my prep is at its peak.

Deadline pressure is real; this determines my path to a 2028 Match in Surgery or Anesthesiology.

I’ve been walking this journey largely alone with God’s help. Medicine is my calling to serve patients with skill and Christ-like compassion.

Today I’m asking brothers and sisters in Christ for partnership.
