How can we co-produce knowledge to realize change? Start of a day-long workshop with @LebaneseStudies in Beirut to share experiences and lessons from diverse perspectives to help move from if partnered research should improve to how.
We have partnered with Humanitarian Policy Group of the Oversees Development Institute (ODI) and Prof. Kamanga of the University of Dar es Salaam, to conduct a research on social cohesion between displacement affected communities in Tanzania.

🔍Livelihoods largely depend on legal entitlements, local support
🔍If not barred from access to work, they are structurally disadvantaged re jobs
🔍Refugees in camps are more dependent on aid
🔍Life outside of camps offers more opportunities but still precarious
