Faith Ministry

Making a difference, one at a time. We aim to spread the love of Christ by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of families on the border in Mexico.

It has been a fantastic week so far with the team from @GoTrinityIndy! They are building Casa #1 for the Saenz Ponce family while also helping with our other programs. God is good!

The @GraceCCRaleigh team from North Carolina has arrived to Reynosa! We are so excited to have them here this week to build Casa #13, help with our other programs, and reunite with friends after two years away!

[Faith Ministry @FaithMinistryMX]

They wrapped up the day doing rebar and helping prep the roof for Thursday. All in a day's work!

[Faith Ministry @FaithMinistryMX]

We had a wonderful first work day with the team from @PerryCrChurch! They kicked off the morning by visiting the clinic to participate in the children's nutrition program and then headed over to Casa #12 to pour the floor of the house for the Martinez Lugo family.

Our grab-and-go nutrition program has been going wonderfully in Miguel Alemán! Thanks to all of you who make this possible with your generosity to the ministry ❤️

Muchas gracias to @SouthportPC for providing Casa # 11 for Elsa and her family and to Mark and Tom for being here this week during its construction!

He was a good friend to many here in Reynosa, but particularly to our retired foreman Ezequiel. Our prayers are with his wife Kristi and their entire family; he will be dearly missed. (2/2)

We were saddened this weekend to learn of the passing of our good friend Brian. Brian came to Mexico with his team from Trinity Lutheran for many years, most recently in early 2020. He was a hard worker, and he made everyone around him laugh. (1/2)

Roof day!

Today the team from Covenant Presbyterian Malvern, PA, the volunteers, and the staff poured the roof of Casa #7, built for Ciro and Cristina and funded by the Litfin family from Ohio!

[Faith Ministry @FaithMinistryMX]

They helped serve breakfast to the kids in our nutrition program, they planted squash and carrot seeds and harvested peppers in the Naranjito garden, they distributed grocery packages to families in the community, and they assisted with the infant feeding program at the clinic!

Did you know there's so much to do to serve here in Reynosa in addition to building a house? Over the past two days, Barbara and Carol from Covenant Presbyterian have been able to help with FOUR of our other programs to make a difference for families here on the border!
