The transformation of the Marindas Forest Block in Muchorwe Beat is a powerful reminder that nature can recover when we invest in its restoration.

Once severely degraded during the 2007/2008 period, this section of the Mau Forest Complex is steadily regaining its ecological integrity through the Mau Forest Complex Integrated Conservation and Livelihoods Improvement Programme (MFC-ICLIP).

Every restored hectare is a step towards securing Kenya's precious water towers and creating sustainable livelihoods for communities living around the forest.
