This is a common response from Malay ethno-nationalists when Malaysians raise questions about the bumiputera concept and ‘’special rights”. Setting aside its factual inaccuracy—the term "bumiputera" doesn’t appear in the 1957 Constitution and is merely an administrative label, same with Special Rights—what he’s alluding to is the so-called "social contract" myth.
This idea wasn’t even mentioned until the 1970s, when it was brought up by Razak’s political secretary at an academic seminar in Singapore.
Since then, ethno-nationalists like this individual have been attempting to reshape and rewrite Malaysian history.
Regardless, debating someone entrenched in this alternative version of history feels futile—they will never accept my points, no matter how much evidence I present.
It’s a pattern seen globally with hardcore racists: they refuse to acknowledge the biological similarity of all humans at birth.
Still, I have a straightforward question: even if we assume the "forefathers" (MCA and MIC leaders) agreed to this supposed deal involving Ketuanan Melayu and discrimination against non-Malays, do you think they’d have signed up for it to last "forever" and until the "end of time"?
The non-Malay leaders might have had questionable moral integrity (debatable), but I doubt they were foolish. What political leader would willingly lock their constituents into perpetual second-class status? My understanding from all the original paperwork they agreed to special government help to the Malay population but with a time limit. They wanted the Malays to ‘catch-up’ with the Chinese, especially in the areas of education and business.
I’d welcome a civil debate on this and would be glad to be proven wrong.
Thanks for reading.

@redzuanNewsMPB Anyone who believes the police statement must be naive
First, they blamed stray dogs, then wild animals & now it’s back to stray dogs again
Never thought stray dogs were capable of using knives. Stop spreading lies

You’ve heard about Antarctic sea ice lows - well, here’s the consequences.
Over 9,000 emperor penguin chicks from colonies in the Bellingshausen Sea are thought to have died in November 2022.
The sea ice they lived on broke up early, before they'd developed waterproof feathers.
With a heavy heart, I pulled the shutters on our Taylor’s outlet yesterday and bade farewell to our chef, Hassan.
Business hasn’t been great, and we had to make the tough decision to pull the plug.
A thread.
Because my genuine Google Reviews kept 'disappearing', I decided to document my distressing experience at Clean Slate Facial Bar, Bangsar in this thread. I deserve to have my voice, my honest experiences heard and documented.
Clean Slate - let's set the record straight.

Since SG-MY once again in spotlight, I'd like take this chance to point out that the whole "Singapore being kicked out of Malaysia" is a myth.
Declassified documents show that Singapore actually engineered its own exit and proposed the separation to Malaysia in 1965.
If you are travelling from a richer country, do not haggle with locals. What's a day's wage for someone sitting 12 hours at a stall outside is not even enough to upsize your McMeal back home. Have some shame.
Bila balik raya, kadang kita tengok jalan sesak (jammed) walaupun di depan tiada kemalangan, tiada kereta masuk dari lorong lain, tiada cerutan jalan (bottleneck), tak hujan, dll. Mula-mula sesak, selepas itu jalan lancar pula tanpa kita nampak punca. Kenapa?

"Apa dibangga dengan anugerah Oscar? Membanggakan Malaysia? Apa yg perlu dibanggakan sangat tu?" he said in an Instagram post.
