In 2024, I ran an experiment in Apa-Agatu in Benue State.

I supported some village children there with Nelson Apochi to help them prepare for JAMB using Educare and teaching support. They all did well and are excelling today.

This boy, Oyishima Daniel Adewebo, was one of them. He scored 290 in JAMB and is currently studying Medicine and Surgery at the University of Abuja.

He just shared his first-year result, and he got all A’s.

It was my riskiest intervention because, at the time, over 500 people had been murdered in the community by herdsmen.

We have lots of hidden talents in villages that we need to discover and help shine.

So this morning I woke up by 5am, woke my wife up, we ate and prayed.
By 6am I went to the kitchen, made breakfast then we ate and ate again. The joy of having your own person 👌👌👌

A lot of people will ask, “Who sent you?”, “Why are you going to cover the WAFCON?”, “Why do you care about the women’s team? Just watch from home.”

These same people will steal your clips and deliberately remove your watermark. These same people will only get to experience post-match interviews after big games through your page.

They will watch the full, unedited post-match and pre-match press conferences for free on your platform, the kind of access they normally have to pay for or wait for on television.

If you allow the pessimists to discourage you, you will probably never make it in life. Always stay optimistic. Always love your country.

One of the reasons I share almost everything we're doing in the South East is simple:

I want you to copy it.

If a strategy gets more children learning, gets more students excited about STEM, raises academic standards, or inspires excellence, don't admire it from afar or criticize Alex. Replicate it in your region. Improve it. Scale it.

Africa has spent too much time protecting ideas instead of spreading what works.

I don't want the South East to be the exception. I want it to become the template for Africa civilization.

Imagine every region in Nigeria building its own Olympiads, ranking schools, training teachers, identifying talent, and making education a public movement.

Imagine every African country adapting the same ideas to fit their own realities.

That's how continents change.

Education is Africa's greatest opportunity. If something works, copy it.

This is THE MAN OF THE YEAR.

Alex Onyia is vindicated! He is my MVP.

When he defended some of the children in his CBT Testing centers, he knew exactly what he was doing. Those children are on FIRE! Alex could vouch for some of them — because he knew that JAMB & WAEC are a walk in the park.

Next time, when he calls out WAEC or JAMB, listen! Don’t reduce everything to tribe or Miracle centers. He has invested heavily in those children. I won’t forget when he ordered (1000 pieces of low cost — fairly used Lenovo Thinkpad PCs from Germany) in a hurry.

He even promised to order thousands more! He keeps fighting for education. He fought for the students of UNN to have better hostels.

He hosts Math Olympiad & trains teachers & pupils. He single-handedly put education back on the map. His advocacy has become an established powerhouse. Alex is global now!

The Presidency are confused. They don’t know how to congratulate the children for winning 12 Gold medals & 3 silver at the STEM Olympiad in Rome, Italy. Congratulating the children could easily be interpreted as promoting Peter Obi.

The world-class performance of the children is why the government must begin to invest in education & sponsor education tournaments.

Their victory is why tribalism & bigotry must die for Nigeria to rise. Aso Rock would have taken all the glory. All they needed to do was reach out & bankroll the children. Congratulating the Geniuses is easy for Peter Gregory Obi.

After all, education is his strongest suit. 👏👏
