On 21st July 2024, I was in Prison. My Wife who was Pregnant almost lost our baby (we later had a beautiful girl), i had missed visiting My Daughter at School, she was inquisitive and tried to call me through her means but my phones were off, most of my friends had stopped following me, I had a few friends left. My friends who are lawyers boldly followed me up amid intimidations. I had only less than 3 friends who openly and broad day light could say, I’m Anderson’s Friend. Those are the people who came to stand surety in court.

After I had gotten out of Prison, I had so many decisions to choose from, what could have been the best. Minced with the discussions I had with some friends I had made in Prison, I chose to go for elective politics.

While I announced that I was going to contest. Again, many took it as a Joke, I quietly and stealthily hit the ground, few could still pick my calls and ver very few not more than 10, supported this journey. The others up to now, have not talked to me neither extended an olive branch.

God gave us the Lead, we campaigned, later in the process, we needed money, a few times my car ran out of fuel on the road, but we could find means and get off the road.

On Thursday Night and Friday morning upon declaring me as the Winner of the @NRMOnline Party Primaries for Nakawa West. I had 600 congratulatory WhatsApp Messages, 380 Missed calls and 89 unread SMS, congratulating me. Countless media invitations.

This whole story is to motivate that one person who is discouraged to keep trying without expecting much from human beings. God will always lead you all you need is to keep focused and trying.

We need to learn that the biggest Percentage will call you because there is what they are getting from you but not when you call them. If that reality hits you deeper, you will live without expecting and that is the real life.
