Completely agree. As a queer streamer it has honestly been really disheartening and honestly kind of demotivating not only to see a rise in bigoted statements and "jokes" among some of the top streamers but to also see that swept under the rug by those around them. I used to struggle with the idea that if I didn't share such a big part of me that I would have been better off which is so sad to think about now.

Those who profit from it don't care about the fact that their audience will repeat what they say and do in the real world which will have real world effects and consequences.
