If JAAC (Joint Awami Action Committee) doesn't behave, the government should show some spine immediately: arrest them, and dismantle this irrational committee. We should not surrender in front of street hooligans.

Fawzia Koofi’s piece in The Guardian reveals that Taliban rule has become an entrenched system of oppression for Afghan women and girls. She warns that, nearly five years on, ongoing restrictions threaten to legitimize the erasure of their rights.
Koofi’s account matches global views on Taliban rule. Over 2.2 million Afghan girls are barred from schooling above sixth grade, with limits on their work, travel, and healthcare. Fewer women in healthcare threatens future female medical staff.
Afghanistan’s humanitarian crisis is worsening, with alarming rates of maternal deaths, severe malnutrition, and restricted healthcare for women, especially rurally. New Taliban rules tighten social control and deepen fears of systemic gender persecution and apartheid.
