This book is needed much more today than when it was published in 1997. Then, memories of what communism actually is, and what it actually brings, were vivid. Today those memories have faded. Some people romanticize communism, or think we should give it another chance. This time, some are tempted to suppose, we'll be able to institute the "right" or the "true" communism.
